Show off your child's creative talents!
GoKidsNJ Online Talent ShowShow off your child's creative talents including drawings, art, photographs (taken BY the child), videos, pictures of their crafts or creations, stories, poetry or anything else that makes them special! The contest will start May 1st 2008 and end on July 31st 2008. Once posted the entries will be judged, rated and voted on by our readers. On August 1st, we will select one winner from the top 10 listing in each age group to be the winner.
Getting Started is easy
Submit your child's entry1. Create a GoKidsNJ user account First, you have to create a GoKidsNJ user account here.2. Submit your entry If your child is age 2 to 5, use this form. If your child is age 6 to 10, use this form.
You can enter as many entries as you want as long as each entry is a unique work.
3. Start voting and praising Once you submit your child's entry you can start looking at the competition, voting on other children's projects, commenting and giving children the praise they deserve for their creations. Please note, any user IP's caught 1 starring other entries will be disqualified from the competition. Remember this is a fun activity for the children.

Help with entries
Here's how you can submit different types of workPoetry, stories and other written works...These are the easy ones. Simply cut and paste the text into the entry form. Use a creative title, short description and copy the information into the field labeled text. PhotosDo the same as above, but use the Picture #1 feature to attach a picture to your entry. The picture must reside on your computer and will be uploaded to our system. If you are posting photos of your child, remember, this is the internet. It is advisable to not include too much personal information.VideosUpload your video to YouTube.Com. When you view the video on YouTube, there is an "Embed" link to the right of the video. Copy and paste the code in the box under Embed: and paste that into your TEXT field of the GoKidsNJ submission form. We will take care of the rest.As always, remember that GoKidsNJ is an internet website and we cannot control who sees the videos and pictures. Please use caution and common sense when posting videos and pictures of your children. We do not require or recommend that you use full names or associate the town you live in with the child's name when posting entries. All we need is your email address from your registration to contact you. We will never ask for any other personal information.

Contest Details
You must be over 18 years of age to enter a submission for your child. You must be a New Jersey Resident. You must create a GoKidsNJ user account and submit an entry form using the online submission form provided at the link above. You may enter each artistic creation only once. You may enter as many different artistic creations as you wish. Entries will be rated, voted and commented on by other users of GoKidsNJ.com. On August 1, 2008, employees of Stilton Company, LLC which operates GoKidsNJ will choose winners from the top 10 rated entries. Contest begins May 1st, 2008 and Ends 12:00am ET July 31, 2008.
